We are located on Newquay's beautiful Headland with Ocean views to front and rear and we have a world class Links Golf Course across the road.

The bay is only five minutes walk away where it can be smaller and more sheltered for beginners.

The new international Fistral Beach Surf Complex is planning to remain open all winter.  Shops, bar, cafe, restaurant and surf gear hire.

Newquay's town centre is only five minutes walk away with all its shops, pubs and vibrant night clubs. Also within walking distance you can surf Towan, Crantock, Lusty Glaze and Great Western beaches. Newquay is also ideally located for walking the coastal footpath, all kinds of fishing, boating, cycling and touring Cornwall.

We can tell you when and where to go for the best surf conditions for your standard of surfing.

Newquay's beaches are patrolled by Lifeguards between May and September to keep you safe.

We can organise BSA tuition for beginners, intermediates or advanced surfers and we can offer discounts on surfboard and wetsuit hire. Newquay is central to all of Cornwall's towns and attractions and we are only 30 minutes away from the famous Eden Project.

Many of our guests now fly with Ryanair (Stanstead to Newquay), airsouthwest.com   (Gatwick to Newquay) and flybe.com and then its a 15 minute bus ride to Newquay at approximately £2.50 (www.westerngreyhound.com) A bus meets the flight.

Ask for the Red Lion pub on the roundabout at the junction of Fore Street, Tower Road and Beacon Rd. With the pub on your right hand side proceed up Beacon Road and take the first turning on left (Headland Road). Fistral Backpackers is about 1/2 way along the road on your right.
